So, the very very good news is that my mum is alright. She's still in hospital but coming home soon. I've been spending a lot of time there with her. The bad news is that she's not overweight, exercises, doesn't smoke etc which means there's no easy solution. It was caused by the fact that she has diabetes and high blood pressure, both of which are only going to get worse.
But for the moment she's okay, and there are pills. I have great faith in pills.
We've been (joking, really) that we need to go on a shopping trip to New York to take advantage of the dollar. We'll probably end up at the Buchanan Galleries as usual, but it makes me feel better to have something planned for the future.
