Finished fic

Have finally finished Conner/Trent fic. It's easily the longest fic I've ever written - 79,888 words! Which I think is quite impressive. Took me over a year though.

And it's weird. I wrote the final scene ages ago - I think it was one of the first parts I wrote. And I got to it, and re-read it, and it was just completely wrong. Not what happened in it, that's stayed the same, but the way Conner thought and acted. He was beginning-of-fic Conner. End-of-fic Conner is almost a completely different character. Hopefully it's not been weird.

Also, I'm worried that it's not a proper ending. I'm not good at proper endings.

Never mind. I have other, more important things I should be thinking about. Like the fact that they've changed the pills Mum was on. She was doing really well, feeling pretty much recovered. She's now knackered all the time.

Hey, congrats on finishing. :) Don't worry about the ending, it's fine. It's good to know that things are still moving in the right direction, despite all issues between them.
