As some of you know, I work part-time at Ann Summers. Which for non-Brits (I don't think you have them other places?) is a high-street sex shop, aimed at women. I mean, we sell mostly sexy underwear and skimpy nurses's uniforms, but also have a nice selection of dildoes, handcuffs and vibrators. As well as a few more exotic items.

It's normal to get customers with questions. So at first I didn't really think anything when a women asked, "I want to get my daughter her first vibrator. Which is best?"

"Oh," said I, making conversation. "How old is she?"

"Eleven."

????

I mean, I'm not alone in finding this shocking, am I? Our first and main rule is always 'thou shalt not judge', but 11? Buying your daughter a vibrator at 11?

It freaked me out a little. I let my boss handle her after that.

But, anyway, that wasn't really the point of this entry, I just kind of had to share my freakedness. Because sometimes working there does make you wonder if you're a prude (normally the answer is no, they're just nymphos).

The point of this was to pimp Kickster, a new and very cool blog all about women's football, started now before the World Cup.

Oh, and poor Fran. I now want to hug him :(.
